Alchemy & Astrology: Akashic Records in Islam

The Akashic Records are an etheric record of all the experiences of every soul that has ever lived on earth. They are a vibrational record of the beliefs, thoughts, events and feelings of every human being in all of their lifetimes. The records contain details of our soul contracts and the possibilities, potentials and karmic debt we have obtained for ourselves in our current incarnation. Every life form contributes and has access to the akashic records. Some believe the records are similar to a cosmic or collective consciousness.

The events recorded can be discovered in various states of consciousness, such as induced by certain stages of sleep, psychedelic drugs, or meditation. Further, it is possible to access these records through a trained spiritualist or religious scholar who specializes in this. Those who have experienced a journey towards the unveiling of their records have described it to be the “library” of all events and responses concerning consciousness in all realities.

The Akashic Records are an etheric record of all the experiences of every soul that has ever lived on earth.

It is beneficial to collect this information which will help us confront the problems and challenges we face. It is a chamber of love and compassion and will not only help us to heal but will help us align with our souls and reach our highest potential.

The records have been referred to by different names including the Cosmic Mind, the Universal Mind, the collective unconscious, the collective subconscious, or in Islam it’s known as, al-lawhl al-mafouz لوح محفوظ (Book of Decrees or Preserved Tablet).

“No calamity befalls on the earth or in you but it is inscribed in the Preserved Tablet before We bring it into existence. Verily, that is easy for God” – Quran, 57:22.

We understand God has explicit decrees for His creations. These decrees are called, Shariat (شریعت) which means lawfulness and Shar (شرع) means law. Subsequently, every series of creation of God has laws categorically for them. These set(s) of laws are within the Preserved Tablet and the revelation is given accordingly:

“And it is a Quran which We have separated by intervals that you might recite it to the people over a prolonged period. And we have sent it down progressively” – Quran, 17:106.

Does the Preserved Tablet pre-date Islam? According to Hazrat Jabrir it has been narrated, “O Messenger of God! May my father and mother be sacrificed for you. Will you tell me the first thing that God created?  He answered: “O Jabir! The thing that God created first is the light of your prophet. Nothing existed then. Lawh did not exist then nor did the pen, Paradise or Hell. Angels did not exist then nor did the sky, the earth, the sun, jinn or people” – Imam Ahmad, Musnad IV-127.

Ahmad further states, “When God wanted to create the creatures, He divided that light into four parts. He created the pen from the first part, Lawh al-Mahfuz from the second part and the Throne from the third part. He divided the fourth part into four again. He created the carriers of the Throne from the first part, the Chair from the second part and the other angels from the third part. He divided the fourth part into four again. He created the skies from the first part, the earth from the second part and Paradise and Hell from the third part. He divided the fourth part into four again. He created the believers’ light of foresight/consciousness of belief from the first part, the light of the hearts – which consisted of  marifatullah  (the knowledge of God) –  from the second part and the light of friendship (the light of La ilaha illallah Muhammad Rasulullah), which consisted of oneness from the third part.”

I have broken down three main reasons for accessing the Akashic Records…

First, we uncover the records in order to contrive more information about our soul. We look at where our soul originates, what energies it is designed to align with, and what our authentic self is. This information gives us a comprehensive overview of our soul purpose for this lifetime. We are here to emanate God, after all . Thus the information contained within the records, about our soul, allows us to tune into our own Divine vibration.

Second, we can study our past behavioral patterns through the records in order to create our present circumstances. For those who believe in past lives, these may be choices that were made in a past life. Whereas for those who do not, these lessons are learned during this lifetime. Don’t forget, we are creators of our own destiny and with every choice there is a consequences. Like my father always says, with every action there is a reaction. As life unfolds, we may occasionally slip into a low vibration and make negative choices. Without a doubt, these negative decisions are choices that threw us out of alignment from our own Divine Source. By having this pattern of negativity and the severity of the damage done to our soul, it is imperative to be aware of it so you can acknowledge the source of the problem and move towards a solution.

I’ve used the Akashic Records for this purpose, to uncover past negative choices I have made in regards to my professional life. It was through this process, I stopped the negative cycle of doubting myself and embraced my authenticity. Upon the records reveal, I did take a few years to deconstruct the limiting beliefs that I had been conditioned, by cultural and family expectations, to believe but nonetheless I persisted.

Lastly, it’s essential to know what limiting pattern(s) that continue to populate negative consequences in order to live your soul’s authentic purposeful life. When we have conscious understanding of these choices then we can also clear their consequences within the Akashic Records and down to our cellular level. We have the ability to enter the Akashic Records and energetically clear the blocks that are preventing us from accessing our own God consciousness. We are creators. We can create our destiny.

“God erases what He will, or confirms. And with Him is the Mother of the Book” – Quran, 13:39.
